bio Lou Lou Players.
Gregg got interested in turntables at the tender age of 14 years old, when he discovered hiphop. He worked hard on his technical skills, and soon started to use them to express his musical talent.
In 1997, Gregg got involved with the break dancing crew, Namur Break Sensation (NBS), known world-wide in the hip-hop scene. He produced breakbeat tracks for their dance events and shows. He also DJed and scratched live with NBS and rising star Cecile de France in a contemporary theatrical production, SC35C. The play was directed by Jean-Michel Frere, based on writing by the Hollywood director, Tim Burton. Following its first successful season, the cast and company, including Gregg, went on tour for more than two years in Belgium, France, Holland, Switzerland, the Czech Republic, Italy and Germany.
In 1998, Gregg started Ohm Productions together with DJ Terry and Fabrice. They wrote, produced and remixed "house music" under the name Ohm Productions, but also with many pseudonyms, on both national Belgian and international labels such as Legato, Ink, Spinnin', Discomatic, Motivo, Finalize and more.
A few years later, in 2003, Gregg, Fabrice and Cedrine launched a non-profit organization, Ruman a.s.b.l., with the goal of producing and promoting their own music, as well as in collaboration with other music artists from other scenes.
In 2004, he produced many electro house EPs under the name "LouLou Players", with co-producer Djerom and vocalist Lotus, which came out on Sharam Jey's label, King Kong. Thanks to high sales, LouLou Players have also remixed many tracks for labels like Darren Emerson's Underwater imprint.
Gregg carried on building on his success, and in 2005, again with Fabrice, he founded an independent electro label supported by Audiopolis Distribution. Called LouLou Records, Gregg uses the label to put out his tracks, with the artist name Kolombo, his new solo project.
Kolombo allows him to put out a wider variety of sounds, from dark electro to minimal, with touches of Italo disco, while keeping his electro house feel throughout. He's currently signing many tracks and remixes on labels like Strobe Music, Lektroklash, Color and more.
